Our story
Waterproofing Cape Town was set up in 2026 by people who had spent years watching roofs that should not have failed, fail anyway — because the wrong system was specified for the substrate, or because the applicator was not approved by the manufacturer whose warranty everyone relied on.
We cover six Cape Town subregions deliberately: the Cape Flats, the Southern Suburbs, the Atlantic Seaboard, the City Bowl, the Far South peninsula and the Helderberg basin. Keeping those two service areas separate means each gets a local team that knows its building stock instead of a national-franchise call centre routing the job to whoever has a gap in the diary.
Every quote we issue is in writing with the system specified, scope itemised and the workmanship guarantee included on the same page. On completion you get the guarantee certificate — typically 5 years on damp work and 10 years on a properly applied torch-on or polyurethane membrane.

The wettest months in Cape Town run May to August. We work hardest in February to April so jobs are dry before the first big front.
